Morné Laubscher, also known as Morbo is a talented bodyboarder and passionate waterman. Experimenting with surf photography and water housings from a young age, he got his hands on a professional water housing in 2014, and could finally begin creating his vision to immortalise moments from his ocean adventures, with fresh, unique angles and perspectives, experienced by few. A technical engineer by trade, the mechanics of photography came naturally to him. Combined with his calm nature, this allows him to become a part of the ocean, unphased by the elements, Morbo can focus his energy on the creative task at hand. With South Africa as his home, the Boland beaches of False Bay to Cape Agulhas, further inspire his work and soul. From his local break of Kogelbay (Caves) to the road less traveled, his work reflects an awe inspiring, artistic expression of his lifelong relationship with the element he loves most.
