Flóki Vilgerõarson was the first Norseman to deliberately sail to Island. His story is documented in the Landnámabók manuscript; however the precise year of his arrival is not clear. He settled in his new land then known as Garõarshólmi.
The inspiration behind this visual is the dynamic nature of the Vikings and their close connection with the sea and their signature boat styles.
If they lived today they would surely surf in their past time.
