How We Built a Surf Competition in Remote South Africa | Surf 2026 | Natural Selection Tour

Following the inaugural Natural Selection Tour Surf Competition in Micronesia, NST is now heading somewhere a bit more terrestrial for year two; the raw and wave-dense coastline of South Africa’s Western Cape.

Natural Selection Tour is proud to introduce 'The Build', a new film pulling back the curtain on the stories and characters that make NST unique. Journey along in this episode of 'The Build: Surf’ as twelve surfers and a crew of thirty camp off-grid and under the stars, adjusting to a new rhythm of sport — one where the waves alone set the agenda.
